About the Committee
The Water and Land Policy Committee addresses a broad variety of policy issues in the area of drinking water, wastewater, and land use processes. Decreasing ground water levels, increasing costs of implementation of programs, and implementation of new onsite wastewater treatment system standards have made this policy committee’s subject matter of heightened awareness and concern. As a result, the committee has been actively working with state agency partners and providing input for pending legislation to address some of these important areas.
